STARTING THERAPY IS A BIG DECISION
You may be eager and ready or perhaps, like many, apprehensive and nervous. Everyone walks in the door with different levels of anticipation. It is completely natural to have a mix of feelings when starting this process.
I meet you where you are. You decide what you want to talk about and the issues you want to address. For some, exploring the past is an integral part of the process – what your family relationships were like and how your upbringing shaped who you are and, through that process, you understand your present. Or, you may come to therapy uninterested in delving into your childhood and want to focus solely on life now and hopes for the future. In either case, you choose the focus and I will be your support along the way.
